Flower Child

Jacket // Shirt // Pants // Belt

With spring comes an all new array of ways to spruce up set new goals for the second half of the year. For me, I’m learning how to  become a bit more organized and really get things in order when it comes to my personal style. Those raggedy old shirts that don’t seem to fit anymore, those oversized and baggy trousers that don’t show off the slimmer, sleeker style I’m going for. Something about a re-organization of your wardrobe just fills me with joy.

Another major focus of spring styling for me is re-inventing my suiting. With so many amazing prints and colors coming out from designers these days, it’s a technicolor wonderland that I can sometimes get caught up on. So, how can we help each other out and truly own our gussied up looks for spring? Start with an amazing jacket. When I first saw this floral jacket from Ted Baker, I knew it was perfect for my next evening soiree. It’s a show-stopping piece that features a two-tone jacquard design and continue the sartorial goodness with the springtime-worthy floral print.

This modern take on the dinner jacket is so playful yet fits the bill for the dressiest of occasions. I’ve paired it with a slim-fit trouser and clean white button down to complete a look that fuses the old and new styles of suiting into a beautifully cohesive and dapper outfit. Now find a tie and go be a gentleman!
