We’ve all heard the sales pitches about which items are worthy of our wardrobes every single season. Prints, styles, fabrics … the list goes on and on. Today I’m bringing you a different kind of story, one you can in-vest in. (Get it? Because I’m talking about vests.) This September, Perry Ellis is reimagining the traditional runway show and taking the concept to the streets, by placing the fall collection directly in the hands of the consumer. Guys all around the world are rocking the social runway show together. They’re calling it #100PiecesOfPerry! Guys from all over the world will get to express their own Perry Ellis style by modeling their looks on their own “runways.” Entrants will have a chance to win a $2,500 Perry Ellis gift card and styling session with GQ’s Executive Stylist, Brett Fahlgren.
As you can see from my look above, I’m rocking the quilted vest and ombre striped shirt. The vest keeps me warm but not hot during the fall transitional season and the patterned shirt is perfect for any occasion, work event or get together.
